Nicolas Albrecht

Nicolas Albrecht heads the Supervisory Board of CargoBeamer AG as Chairman. After graduating in Economics from Stanford University, he worked as a management consultant in the logistics and commodities sector at the Boston Consulting Group in Munich from 2010 to 2013. In 2013 Albrecht moved to commodities group Glencore in Switzerland, where he held the position of Continental Head for South America in the zinc and silver sector for over six years. Albrecht joined CargoBeamer in 2020, initially as Chief Business Development Officer. In 2022, he was elected the companies’ new CEO. During his four years as CEO, he raised €200m in growth capital and led CargoBeamer’s expansion, making it the fastest-growing intermodal operator in Europe. In 2026, he was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
